We delivered this telescope in June 2002 and this was the first light image. It also was
first light for our new ST10 XME.
The seeing this night was the best I ever experienced. The next night it was about the
same, so this location (near Bozen, Italy) seems to be a very good place.
The image was not off-set guided. The accuracy of the mount is better than
0.2 arc seconds RMS in 5 minutes. |
