RCrayford-focuser with Off-Axis Guider and flip-mirror

From the beginning on we had to develope new focusing systems and off-axis guiders for our telescopes since no finished products where availible that would have been able to fit to the Hypergraph. Every part is designed to deliver maximum stability and minimum vignetting for the 4" field of the Hypergraph.
We are able to deliver a full concept that includes the focuser, off-axis guider and custom made camera adapters. The oversized field makes off-axis guiding a pleasure.
The standard-focuser is a crayford-design on oversized roller bearings and can be focused by means of a spindle. There is a scale that allows reproducable focusing to a better accuracy than 50 microns.
We also deliver motofocus and(or) digital focus-counter.

Flip-Mirror and off-axis guider

As you can see, we have not only the off-axis tube but also another tube that contains a mirror that can be moved to the axis of the telescope. This has the same function as a flip mirror in other systems. If it is calibrated on the camera it can be used for centering the object as well as for focusing without removing the camera. The Hypergraph is here shown with a Toyo 6x8 Camera.
